Dining

Most of the dining in town is in the hotels where most guests have either full or half board. For a special meal head down the moutain road to La Massana and try a traditional meal at Borda de L’Avi (835154; photo right) where meat is grilled over glowing embers in a restored barn. The nearby, more traditionally elegant Restaurant El Rusc (838200) serves Basque cuisine with wonderful grilled fish and meat. For a magical atmosphere go to Borda Raubert (835420) on the road to Arinsal. It has been called the "temple of Andorran cooking."

Dine at Hotel Coma (736100) for the best traditional restaurant in the area or try Sant Miquel (749000) for very affordable and well-prepared meals.
